This is a beautiful haven on Platte Lake just 3 miles from Lake Michigan and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We offer 100 feet of private lake frontage with two homes:

The Lake House is a contemporary spacious vacation home with wide views of the lake and a few short steps to the waters edge:

Sleeps up to 6* in: Master bedroom downstairs with a Queen bed Upstairs bedroom with 2 twin beds Upstairs loft with a Queen Sofa bed There is also a large sitting room in the master bedroom

Amenities include:

• A full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs
• Washer and dryer (small capacity for limited use)
• Fully equipped kitchen (cookware, dishes, glassware)
• TV with VCR and DVD players, music system
• Large deck with chairs

* Extra guest may be allowed with permission of the owner for an additional fee.

The Summer Cottage is a contemporary summer cottage with excellent views of the lake and close to the waters edge:

Sleeps up to 6 in: Deck with table and chairs Downstairs bedroom with a double bed Upstairs loft with a double bed A pull out couch in the family room There is also a roll away twin bed

Amenities include:

• Full bath downstairs
• Fully equipped kitchen (cookware, dishes, glassware)
• TV/DVD; CD/Radio with speakers

North Shore Platte also includes: 2 canoes, a kayak and a row boat a fire pit on the beach a dock large picnic table and gas grill Wireless Internet Access

Both homes are pet free and smoke free.

NorthShore Platte homes are available for rent to family and friends on a weekly basis (or otherwise arranged) from May through October. Check-in time is 4 pm. Check-out time is 10 am. The following is a list of some of the extra items you should bring and other items you may consider.

Platte Lake is an all sports lake with great fishing. The lake bottom is firm and sandy and the lake near shore is shallow, perfect for young children.

Rentals are made to friends and family only - no open rentals.
